Lovely spot for a walk. When you step out of the house cross the road and keep going down Central Avenue. It is a dead end and at the end is a little lane way that takes you to the creek. If you turn right after the bridge you can walk up to main road and to bus stops etc or keep following the rivulet up towards the mountain / kunanyi.

Allow yourself a full day and enjoy the numerous bars and the surrounding outdoor areas. We find food is quite pricy there so we like to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it on the grass near the Delvoye pavilion, which is behind the library round house. You can even grab a drink from the wine-bar to take down there!
The void bar is on the lowest floor of the museum is amazing and does incredible cocktails and the Turrel work at sunset and sunrise is beautiful.
