Sightseeing
This is a wonderful beach that has recently had a major facelift to all the surrounding foreshore which now has a beautiful pool, skate park and lawns that overlook the beach.
Our beaches are wonderful in the mornings before the infamous sea breeze comes in but if you do come down later there are lots of bars, restaurants and food mart on Thursday nights in summer which is special place to see the sunset.

Scarborough Beach

This is a local favorite to visit at any time of the year.
The famous quokka's live here and are always up for a photo but the real attraction is the stunning beaches and the laid back vibe. There is quite a bit of local history and sites to explore with free tours at the best ones.
Bikes (we recommend the electric ones) or the bus is the best way to get around. There are few places to eat & drink but once out of the township you should take your waterbottle & snacks.

Rottnest Island
This is a local favorite to visit at any time of the year.
The famous quokka's live here and are always up for a photo but the real attraction is the stunning beaches and the laid back vibe. There is quite a bit of local history and sites to explore with free tours at the best ones.

This used to be classified light industrial area so there are lots of retail shops that sell cars, household goods, floor coverings etc but this is evolving so there are getting to be more professional businesses that attract coffee shops and residential buildings.
There is a lake at the southern boundary that offers great views of the city.
Osborne Park
