Off the beaten track and makes you forget you're in a city with the peace and quiet. Park beside the rugby/hockey pitches and walk 2 minutes or park at Cutters Wharf Stranmillis and walk 2.5 kms along the towpath! Great cycle/walk/run!

Great Indian restaurant! Park outside or across the road at the Marks & Spencers, also walkable as a 15-minute stroll will get you here. Reasonable prices and a very cool restaurant to treat yourself at.

Love them or hate we have Starbucks! However, there are 2/3 other coffee shops in this exact area so there's plenty of choice. I'd say I can walk here in 10 minutes when I need to cure my coffee habit. Go here to chill, people watch and kid friendly.

There are quite a few good shops (20/30 shops) gathered here on Boucher Road, perfect if you have a car otherwise short taxi ride and you can walk between the shops.
Restaurants just across the road include Frankie & Bennies, Nando's, Costa etc. so grab some lunch or early dinner whilst you're down there.

Parks & Nature
Not the post office but across the road is botanic gardens that are joined to Queens University. Nice for a walk or picnic and parking is usually easier at the Stranmillis side or the street beside Queens Students Union. The bus on Malone road goes directly past this.

One of our favourite bars in the area. Slightly up-market but has good crowd of young professionals and parents sneaking out for a cocktail! We'd happlily walk here in 15 minutes and then I'll have a Sierra Nevada beer!

701-703 Lisburn RdOne of our favourite bars in the area. Slightly up-market but has good crowd of young professionals and parents sneaking out for a cocktail! We'd happlily walk here in 15 minutes and then I'll have a Sierra Nevada beer!
This was our bar of choice during uni! If you want a real pub atmosphere then this is a good bet. Great for sports or a quite pint of Guinness in the front bar (also known as the old man's bar!). Also serves pub grub, and the Malone road bus will take you straight here.
