Bromley Mountain is a 25 minute drive from the house. During the summer there are many outdoor activities in their Mountain Adventure Park for the thrill-seeking group! In the winter I recommend taking advantage of the variety of terrain available for skiing and riding. Weekdays tend to be pretty quiet, allowing you to find many trails that are unpopulated by other winter sport enthusiasts!

10 minutes from the house you will find Emerald Lake State Park which is a fantastic place to spend a spring, summer or fall day! For a low admission price you have access to the beach, peddle boats, kayaks, swimming, fishing and more. You can bring your own picnic or buy lunch at the concession stand. It is the site of the country's first marble quarry where you can see old train stations, mountain trams, water powered lumber mills, etc.

65 Emerald Lake Ln10 minutes from the house you will find Emerald Lake State Park which is a fantastic place to spend a spring, summer or fall day! For a low admission price you have access to the beach, peddle boats, kayaks, swimming, fishing and more. You can bring your own picnic or buy lunch at the concession stand. It is the site of the country's first marble quarry where you can see old train stations, mountain trams, water powered lumber mills, etc.
Enjoy the small beach, swimming dock and canoe/kayak rentals in the summertime. There are also several interesting walking trails all around the lake with points of interest.

Here you will see some of the finest horse competitors in the country perform in Grand Prix show jumping, hunter-rider events and more.
