I have no idea why this place has become an internet sensation and why everyone is looking to get a selfie moment with this boat house. I've travel past this boat house for 5 years travelling to and from UWA and have never actually stopped here.

Perth Free Transit Zone - All Buses are FREE in the zone.
Basically you can jump onto any bus, tell the driver you're going down the terrace and its free as long as you get off within the transit zone.

Perth is a pram friendly city
I personally travel with a pram when I'm out. It's super easy to get around in Perth with a pram.
Transperth (Green) buses have ramps to cater for prams and people in a wheelchair. Just ask the driver to extend the ramp
Note: Only the newer looking buses have the ramps. (all CAT bus have this ramp)
