Sightseeing
There is a large car park, cafe and toilets here and a land train that will take you straight down to the beach for a small cost. However, the walk over the Head or around the Head on the beach side may take longer but it is beautiful with stunning views back to Bournemouth and along the coast line to Barton on sea. Not to mention the Isle of Wight. It is simply the best!

Hengistbury Head

Not to mention the Isle of Wight. It is simply the best!
You can park in the car park or for free in the road above where there are steps down to the sea. I like to turn right at the bottom and run along the seafront to Sandbanks where you’ll find the Jazz cafe who do wonderful breakfasts and food in general. Live Jazz is played on the weekend. However, if running is not your thing then the acres of pure white sandy beaches are there for the taking with plenty of amenities to enjoy.
Durley Chine Car Park
Durley Chine Car ParkYou can park in the car park or for free in the road above where there are steps down to the sea. I like to turn right at the bottom and run along the seafront to Sandbanks where you’ll find the Jazz cafe who do wonderful breakfasts and food in general. Live Jazz is played on the weekend. You can walk from here to Highcliffe where you can have teas in Highcliffe castle, set in lovely gardens and who host a variety of entertainment in the evenings.

Mudeford

This dry ski slope is suitable for beginners who can have lessons or competent skiers or snowboarders. However, for the younger ones there are ringos to slide down the slopes on as well as an adventure park.
