Its amazing the scale of what has occurred in Rossland and Trail in the past. You'll be shocked at what you discover. Worth visiting if you are on a rest day between skis or bikes. :-)

Its a fair drive, but doable, particularly if you plan to spend some time in Nelson or Kaslo. Worth it to warm your bones if you are out that way.
