Here are some of our favorite eats within walking distance. This is just a highlight of the many, many local offerings, there are always new ones, too. We hope you’ll enjoy exploring the neighborhood. As businesses do come an go, we recommend always checking online to make sure a place is still open regular hours before heading out. Let us know if you are in search of something specific, whether dining or otherwise, and we will do our best to provide info.
Two blocks south and two blocks east of us you’ll find a great thin-crust, wood-fire oven pizza place that is a neighborhood hot spot. They offer a variety of great pizzas, pasta, and a few yummy salads. If you are looking for a delicious meal that is easy on the budget, get there before 6pm to enjoy their 11am-6pm happy hour deal of $5 (!!) for a Margherita (Cheese) pizza. It’s a pretty amazing value for the quality, but the deal is only for cheese pizzas.

In half a block you’ll see the spot. It’s got outdoor seating, too. They’ve got great noodle/broth bowls, tasty wings, and plenty of variety and unique menu options. Good for take-out, too.

Most pubs in the neighborhood offer good, hefty burgers with plenty of dressings, this is a simpler, slightly smaller one, but solid and satisfying. This restaurant is attached to the lovely Mississippi Studios music venue.

Most pubs in the neighborhood offer good, hefty burgers with plenty of dressings, this is a simpler, slightly smaller one, but solid and satisfying. This restaurant is attached to the lovely Mississippi Studios music venue.

A little further form us, about 7 blocks east, is this great Middle Eastern spot. Their gyros are delicious! It’s good place for lunch or early eat-in or take-out dinner, as they may close early-ish in the evening.

For a nicer night out, we love this place for their delicate and creative wood-fired pizzas, house-made ice cream, imaginative, lovingly created appetizers, and sides. It opens at 5pm for dinner, is a bit on the spendier side, and sometimes has a wait at peak dinner hour, between 6:30 and 7pm.
