Neighbourhoods
Dunchurch has a community center, Sand Beach for swimming, and playground, public washrooms, plus Duck Rock restaurant( take out and dine in) and convenience store and gas station with the best ice cream cones. LCBO and Whitestone Library and Technology center as well as a Community center are also located here. There is Whitestone Marina where you can pick up a coffee, or rent a boat. There is a United Church in town as well.

LCBO and Whitestone Library and Technology center as well as a Community center are also located here. There is Whitestone Marina where you can pick up a coffee, or rent a boat. There is a United Church in town as well.
Gorham farm on Gorham Rd, off Wahwashkesh Rd. has fresh eggs and sometimes meats to offer right from the farm house door.

City/town information
Parry Sound has quite a few attractions as well as restaurants and boat tours of the local Georgian Bay area. Several supermarkets, plus fresh vegetables and fruit at the Farmers Market on Bowes St. under the tent, and on Tuesday afternoons, the local farmers market takes place near the library, in the center of town. Museum Tower is an historic and very scenic place to visit as well. Waubuno Beach is another popular playground and beach with facilities, as well as a large Walmart, for any essentials you may have forgotten to bring.
A special treat is dining on the patio at Tailwinds restaurant where you can watch the Georgian Airways float planes landing and taking off, as well as other boating traffic and sometimes the Pathfinder and other schooners arrive to stay for a bit while they teach the skills of sailing to their young students. The Stockey center is the place where the Festival of the Sound takes place for 3 weeks each summer, showcasing jazz and other entertainment.
Right on the waterfront, it is a gorgeous place to watch a show, as well as a beautiful sunset. Try the local beer at Trestle Brewing Company, or book a meal on the Chippewa Boat cruise.
