World heritage
The archipelago of Vaasa is a world heritage. One can learn about it in Pohjanmaan museo in the center of Vaasa or go to see it on location. Björkö is a good place. It has a watchtower. There is a nice museum in Björkö as well, showing the life on the island around 100 years ago. The famous furniture paintings are on display.

Ferry boats to Umea, Sweden from the port in Vaskiluoto (4 km from my place). Train & busstation in the citycenter (900 meters from my place).
The trainstation was built over 100 years ago during the russian time. The architecture remains the same. Next door is a modern bus station.
