The King County Water Taxi leaves from right outside Marination and will take you downtown with easy access to the stadiums, Pike Place Market, etc...

Too many good things to say about this restaurant. Getting a table can be a challenge, but worth the effort. French Vietnamese fusion cuisine. Favorite drink: Trinidad Sour. Visit their bar next door as well, Foreign National.

Delicious, modern Italian cuisine in West Seattle's downtown (The Junction). The beef tartare and Dungeness crab are both stellar, and all of the pasta dishes are inventive and memorable. Reservations recommended!

Is the Space Needle touristy? Yes. Does it still RULE? Definitely. Add to that the Museum of Pop Culture, the Chihuly Glass Museum, the Pacific Science Center, the KEXP radio station, and so many other attractions and you have a destination popular with visitors and locals alike. (Pro tip: eat lunch at Skillet in The Armory. The kale caesar with fried chicken will cure what ails you)
