On Thursdays there is a fun scene downtown San Jose. Art Gallerys are open streets are closed - walk around and check out some art and then maybe enjoy dinner downtown. Not sure it's going in the summer time...

Great place to go snorkeling and hang on a different beach for a day. Usually pretty calm waters. The boats from Cabo San Lucas being tourists here to snorkel.
