This place is PHENOMENAL! Fantastic, food-every bite of every course an absolute delight. Beautiful ambiance with amazing service. Truly a gem.
Oh, and if you're a fan of bottomless mimosa brunches, you've found the right place.

Lido Harlem Restaurant
2168 Frederick Douglass BlvdThis place is PHENOMENAL! Fantastic, food-every bite of every course an absolute delight. Beautiful ambiance with amazing service. Truly a gem.
Oh, and if you're a fan of bottomless mimosa brunches, you've found the right place.

"Mamma mia, this is one good pizza pie!
We opted for the 12" buffalo mozzarella pie which we thought would be enough for two people. Not the case for this Jersey Italian girl!
The pizza was SO delicious I imagine I could have eaten a whole pie by myself. Just the perfect combination of flavorful medium crust, perfectly chewy and just the right amount of floppy give to deliver the oozing globs of delicious buffalo mozzarella cheese. And the sauce was vibrant and flavorful, I was in heaven.
It tasted like real authentic pizza with good quality ingredients - my only regret is we didn't opt for the bigger size!"

Crepe Master is a great addition to the neighborhood. It's a tiny place with a counter and some comfortable bar stools. It's nicely decorated and clean. They have a selection of savory and sweet crepes and also have some fresh smoothies.
It's fun to grab a sweet treat from these guys and then walk 2 streets to sit in the beautiful Marcus Garvey Park.

2029 5th AvenueCrepe Master is a great addition to the neighborhood. It's a tiny place with a counter and some comfortable bar stools. It's nicely decorated and clean. They have a selection of savory and sweet crepes and also have some fresh smoothies.

"PRO:
1) The owner of Cheri greeted us at the door and accommodated us with a table almost immediately especially considering that we had a baby and stroller with us. He seated us in the covered garden space so we could be comfortable;
3) I went there for brunch and the taste of food was delicious. Also the price of the food is fair considering the amount of food they serve. Plus the mimosas were delicious :)
4) We were pleasantly surprised to be serenaded by a local music artist that was signing in French through our time there. Even the owner jumped in on the mic to serenade the guests

While every other visitor will snap the same, boring shots from the south side of this massive park, you'll be entering from the North, giving you breath-taking views of the Harlem Meer lake and the Conservatory Gardens. Explore the North Meadow and circle the reservoir, famously featured in countless big city films as a landmark of all things New York.

Located upstairs from Red Rooster, Gin Fizz delivers the best music (at least on a Friday) out of all of the Harlem hot spots. Spanning from the mid-90s, early 2000s, to current music. Absolutely love. On the nights where there are live bands, it gives the true Harlem "speakeasy" experience. And I LOVE the genuine crowd.

If you're a jazz lover. If you're not really a jazz lover. It doesn't matter. This place is the bomb.
Nothing beats this intimate jazz experience where you totally absorb yourself with the music and every hand gestures and little playful notes, and the collaboration between the instruments and the small audience being a part of the sets. It's literally having an amazing band play just for you in the living room.

Located in the center of Le Petit Sénégal, do come here for some very nice handmade leather trinkets and your typical beads and necklaces and everything else Afrocentric, typically, directly imported from places such as Mali, Senegal, and Burkina and Faso to name a few. One can also find a good deal on some very nice Sterling silver pieces at very reasonable and negotiable prices. The wax fabrics are also very high quality for those of us who are into creating our own garments.

Located in the center of Le Petit Sénégal, do come here for some very nice handmade leather trinkets and your typical beads and necklaces and everything else Afrocentric, typically, directly imported from places such as Mali, Senegal, and Burkina and Faso to name a few. One can also find a good deal on some very nice Sterling silver pieces at very reasonable and negotiable prices. The wax fabrics are also very high quality for those of us who are into creating our own garments.

Located two minutes away, this local grocery store has every item for the kitchen, not to mention an unbeatable deli counter (you CANNOT beat their prices - for real!) and a gracious local beer selection.
