Chai Lattes are so good here. Coffee is also good and you can hit these South Portland (SoPo) venues up on the way to some of my favorite recommended parks.

Hop on a ferry to Peaks Island or take a longer boat ride on the mail boat to view the Calendar Islands of the Casco Bay. Reggae Sundays are Jones Landing on the Island are a must-do.

Home of one of the most photographed lighthouses in the nation. This park is a must see! The views are breathtaking. Families with young children can enjoy the playground and the Children's Garden - a natural rock and garden with native maine plants, trickling waterfalls, monarch butterflies and with a super fun granite rock super slide - you could spend the whole day in this park! My husband and I were married at this park, so it holds a special place in our hearts.
Added bonus, there are food trucks parked her regularly offering local treats like Maine Lobster Rolls and Gelato.

This Hannaford is a little further from the studio than the one in Westbrook, but it's much bigger and offers a superior produce selection. It is also located across the street from Baxter Blvd. - a nice 3.5-mile jog, walk, or bike.
