Originally built in 1929 by Simpon Timber Company, this bridge served as a logging railroad track. The bridge rises 420' above spectacular views of Skokomish River as it winds through a basalt chasm. Drive to Skokomish Valley rd, 5 miles to FS#23, 2.4 miles to FS#2340, 2.4 miles to the bridge. 35 minute drive.

One of the larger and more frequently visited falls on the Hood Canal. It is an easy hundred yard walk from the road to the falls. Directions from Hwy 101 just North of Brinnon, travel West on Dosewallips Road for 3 miles. After crossing the Rocky Brook Bridge, park on the left side in the small turnout.

Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. 2 hour drive.
A wonderful day hike between May to October. If its a clear day you can see downtown Seattle, Puget Sound and hood canal. Stunning views almost the entire way up. Drive to the lower trailhead for a 6 mile hike or upper trailhead for a 3 mile hike. Elevation gain from the upper trailhead is 2500 ft but its worth it!

Mount Ellinor
A wonderful day hike between May to October. If its a clear day you can see downtown Seattle, Puget Sound and hood canal. Stunning views almost the entire way up. Drive to the lower trailhead for a 6 mile hike or upper trailhead for a 3 mile hike. Elevation gain from the upper trailhead is 2500 ft but its worth it!
