~1 min from the apartment, this is the local cafè (brunch in the weekend) turned bar at night. The courtyard is very nice in summer! Inside the decor is traditional danish bodega vibes. Occasionally they show sports as well!

Fantastic small park at the very centre of Copenhagen. My favorite place to read books in the summer. Surprisingly not as crowded as you could have imagined.

Large man-made sand island with beaches all round. Copenhagen’s most famous and main beach. Must go to the northern part, I enjoy going a bit further south out to the pier, which is usually less crowded and great for getting some swimming in - as you can jump straight into the sea!

1 Amager Strand PromenadenLarge man-made sand island with beaches all round. Copenhagen’s most famous and main beach. Must go to the northern part, I enjoy going a bit further south out to the pier, which is usually less crowded and great for getting some swimming in - as you can jump straight into the sea!
Beautiful forest north of Copenhagen. UNESCO world heritage site and former royal hunting grounds. In my opinion the most beautiful nature around Copenhagen can be found here. Take the train from Bispebjerg to Hellerup and change to S-train line C terminating in Klampenborg. The park is massive and there are thousands of deers in the park walking amongst the visitors. In the middle is the Eremitage Castle along with large open plains. I recommend going straight along the main park, past the amusement park in the South of the park, and going alone the large avenue dirt path. Popular mountain biking area as well. I would say a trip usually takes 2 - 4 hours, excluding travel time.

The Carlsberg Glyptotheque is a gift from the brewer Carlsberg, who was an industrialist and philanthropist. Featuring primarily sculptures and busts, it also has a palm garden in its entrance which is lovely!
