This is a little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. It literally will only seat 8 people, but the food is amazing! It will not disappoint. Its open most days, 8am - 4pm

Parks & Nature
This is great place, that is kind of off the beaten path. You can fish, walk, jog, bike, or simply have a picnic. There are at least 5 pond/lakes so you can feel somewhat secluded, however the city is not far away. There are also toilets located throughout the area.

This park has a walking trail and volley ball courts. It is a great place to go if you would like to watch the sunset because the reflection off the water in combination with the city-scape is absolutely breathtaking!

There are several trails here! I have yet to walk all of them, but they all seem well maintained and have various length.

Smaller than Burr Oak Woods, but just as beautiful and peaceful! It's right off the plaza!

Harry S. Truman was from this area and it is worth a trip to see his home and library. At the library they have a full scale reprical of the oval office. Also they have an activity where they have taken declassified documents from when Truman was president. You can look at them and then you can make the decision of whether to drop the A-bomb or the Berlin Airlift. It's very interactive museum!
