Spacious, chilled out bar with American diner food, with ping pong and table football. DJs at the weekend. Good place to chill in the day, Children allowed in before 6pm, fun to have a game or two before it gets packed with drinkers in the evening.

Well known independent music venue in Oxford. We've been to many jazz nights here, although they offer up all genres of music. Pub / bar area out the front, music venue out the back.

Parks & Nature
One of the best parks in Oxford with plenty of space and interest for all. We have two Springers, so often camped out here for an afternoon with a picnic and dogs.. and children, footballs etc. Useful little cafe in the centre for snacks, ice creams etc.

If you're brave enough, you can take a dip in the river by Port Meadow. Wonderful spots along the river to take a minute or two, or even the whole afternoon to relax. You have two good pubs to choose from, The Perch and The Trout.

University of Oxford museum of art and archaeology - the World's oldest public museum. Worthwhile checking out their website for the current exhibitions. Highly recommend a visit. I've heard the roof restaurant is very, although I haven't quite made it there yet.
