Nonna's Kitchen is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. The restaurant is family run and they have fantastic food. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm and you get what you pay for.
Nonna's is only a 2 minute walk from where we are so no need to fight over who is the designated driver.

45 Morningside RdNonna's Kitchen is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. The restaurant is family run and they have fantastic food. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm and you get what you pay for.

La Favorita is an excellent Pizza and Pasta takeaway which makes the best Pizza in Edinburgh IMO. It's not the cheapest takeaway you'll have but boy is it worth it. We go here far to often.
They also have home made ice cream.

Lothian Busses are edinburghs go to public transport. They offer frequent busses to pretty much everywhere even to the airport from Princess Street. If you Google Lothian Busses their web site is excellent at showing you how to get from A to B with the 'Journey Planner' tab online.
On Morningside Road just outside Marks & Spencer is the bus stop which has busses every 5 minutes to town during peak hour. You can pay £1.60 for an Adult Single, 80p for a child with Coins or download their app to buy tickets with a Credit/Debit Card. Or if your planning a big day out with 3 journeys or more then you can buy a 'Day Saver' for £4 Adult £2 Child which is better value.
