One of Wales' leading heritage attractions and a site of international significance. A medieval castle located within beautiful parklands at the heart of the capital. Well worth a visit!!

A 500 acre freshwater lake with 8 miles of waterfront and home to such attractions such as Techniquest, the Welsh assembly government building and the Wales Millennium Centre which is a stunning international arts centre. There are numerous bars and restaurants catering for all tastes and the Red Dragon Centre provides options for family entertainment (cinemas, bowling and numerous restaurants).
You can catch a small ferry from the docking station in Bute Park near the Castle which will take you down the River Taff and drop you off in Cardiff Bay.
