Non è un ristorante turistico, ma una vera hosteria romana con ottimi piatti della tradizione romana, come matriciana, carbonara, rigatoni con la paiata, arrosti, saltimbocca.... posto carino, economico. Ci abbiamo mangiato più di una volta.

Roll out the barrel at this vintage Roman-style bierkeller, where crowds of appreciative locals and tourists pack in to dine on filling carb and meat fare, washed down with draught Peroni. There are four beers on tap, including Nastro Azzurro and Fuller’s London Pride. The food, served by hale and hefty waiters, consists of three or four daily changing pasta dishes, plus sausages, steaks, goulash, grilled scamorza cheese and a few salads. If you are in a hurry at lunchtime you can join the local office workers who eat standing up at the bar in the entrance.

The pizza dough is light, fragrant, well leavened and cooked very well. The pizza is light, the ingredients are all top quality and the wine or beer list is very accurate.
Personally I would choose the Pizza Scarola and Alici, the Zibello, the Scottish. For the appetizers I point out the cheeses and the various types of ham, truly exceptional. Then a very specials kind of pasta and specials meat.
A place to eat really well, not for tourists.

28 Via del Monte della FarinaThe pizza dough is light, fragrant, well leavened and cooked very well. The pizza is light, the ingredients are all top quality and the wine or beer list is very accurate.
Personally I would choose the Pizza Scarola and Alici, the Zibello, the Scottish. For the appetizers I point out the cheeses and the various types of ham, truly exceptional. Then a very specials kind of pasta and specials meat.

The bridge is decorated with 10 statues representing angels, all designed by Bernini. From the bridge, you will have a magnificent view of the city and the river.
The Castel Sant’Angelo, on the other hand, was built by Emperor Hadrian to serve as a mausoleum. Later on, it started to play an important military role: it even served as a place of refuge for the popes during invasions!
