Museum het Schip.
The apartment building on the Spaarndammer-plantsoen by Michel de Klerk, which has been nicknamed Het Schip (the Ship), is renowned worldwide. The building resembles a bizarre art form. Its appearance is unconventional from all angles. Designed in 1919, the building contains 102 dwellings for the working class, a small meeting hall and a post office.
During opening hours (Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00-17.00) they offer a guided tour in and around the building. The tour is offered every hour starting at 11.00. The language of the tour depends on the nationalities of the visitor. We try to offer foreign visitors an English tour, but we can not give any guarantee.

Their site is also in English and you can check out oif they offer English theatre. Or just go to a fysical dutch play, is also funny. You can have a beer in the Frascati cafe anyway

Sightseeing
Dam Square lies in the historical center of Amsterdam, approximately 750 meters south of the main transportation hub, Centraal Station, at the original location of the dam in the river Amstel.
The Dam derives its name from its original function: a dam on the Amstel River, hence also the name of the city.[1] Built in approximately 1270, the dam formed the first connection between the settlements on the sides of the river.
Over the course of the 19th and 20th centuries, Amsterdam's main square became a "national" square well known to nearly everyone in the Netherlands. It has frequently been the location of demonstrations and events of all kinds, and a meeting place for many people. On 4 May every year, the Dutch celebrate National Memorial Day (Nationale Dodenherdenking), in observance of which the last addition to the square, the National Monument,[1] was set up in 1956
