4801 Camp Ranch RdThis is the most popular trail associated with Paynes Prairie. During the late Spring to early Fall, you can see a ridiculous amount of gators. You may also spot a diversity of birds, feral horses, bison, and other creatures along this trail. At the end, there is a small observation deck overlooking the center of the prairie.

A very nice open area were visitors often come to view birds. It is a wetland area that also includes gators, turtles, and snakes. Occasionally, feral horses are seen in this area. I highly recommend this place.
