Hiking to Hickory Nut Falls, climb to the top of Chimney Rock for views of the blue ridge mountains and bragging rights for getting up the stairs (or use the elevator)! Dog friendly. Cafe at the top of the mountain, and rock climbing lessons as well. Gift shop there as well.

Our favorite winery. Pets welcome. Try some of NC's best wines. We got married here last September. Come visit Jennifer for a tour of the vines and stay for some farm to table food on weekends. Live music schedule on most weekends as well! Pack a blanket for a picnic, or use a table. Wander through the vines and have a wonderful time! Red wine drinkers, rose drinkers, and chardonnay drinkers are in luck here!

Daily excursions in additional to daily fee (call for prices or look online) include segway tours, horseback riding, wine tastine (free), wine and chocolate tours, fly fishing excursions and bicycle rentals. You may bring your own bike and explore at will. Family friendly with restaurants, a petting zoo, and a playground.
