Great italian food, different menu every day. Though don't make the mistake and stay in the front area of the restaurant - go to the back, that's where the nicer tables are!

this is a real insider tip: on the rooftop of the technical university there is an amazing café with moderate prices, you can't get a better view of Munich's skyline :)
