If you feel like meeting another beach, Praia Verde is a gGreat one with great restaurants nearby. Usually is a soft waves beach where families can hang out
The beach for your stay for sure if you don't feel like taking great distances to it. Either you park your car in the free parking very close location to the place you take the boat (just a ridiculous short 2min ride), or you walk a few 20min to it, this beach is a great place to spend your vacations.
If you fell adventurous, wait for the low tide to walk to and from the beach!

Cabanas Beach
The beach for your stay for sure if you don't feel like taking great distances to it. Either you park your car in the free parking very close location to the place you take the boat (just a ridiculous short 2min ride), or you walk a few 20min to it, this beach is a great place to spend your vacations.
If you fell adventurous, wait for the low tide to walk to and from the beach!
Sightseeing
Cacela Velha is a small walled city, situated on top of a hill with a view to the easternmost lagoon of the Ria Formosa. It is the site of the Fortaleza de Cacela. Cacela Velha and the surrounding towns were a stopover for Greek and Phoenician navigators. Roman and Arab occupiers also played a significant role in the expansion of the region.
Sunset or sunrises here are a must! Here you can also join a local restaurant for a full outing

Cacela Velha is a small walled city, situated on top of a hill with a view to the easternmost lagoon of the Ria Formosa. It is the site of the Fortaleza de Cacela. Cacela Velha and the surrounding towns were a stopover for Greek and Phoenician navigators. Roman and Arab occupiers also played a significant role in the expansion of the region.

Church of the 16th century, from the order of Santiago, it was built with donations from residents. Noteworthy is the entrance porch. Further works took place by mid 18th century.
In walking distance, this Church is open to cult on Saturday's at 18h30 and daily mass at 18h (Summer time) and 19h (Winter time)
