You can take a nice walk to the beach from our house to the Barview tidal pools and a bit further to the beach. If you drive, remember to take the parking pass by the door!

준비물
If you are new to the Oregon Coast, pack a lot of layers!
Our weather tends to run colder than inland in the summer and can be wet and drizzly in the winter. It's best to have layers and options.
Summer- swimsuit to sweatsuit weather. If you want to be on the beach after sunset, maybe make a fire, you will want some warm clothes, maybe even a hat and definitely shoes and socks.
Winter- rain is frequent and it can be windy. Bring rain gear, rain boots, hats and gloves and you can beach walk in almost any weather!

Make sure you take the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad
Book online. You may want to consider one way if your kids are smaller. It is fun for all ages!

Visit the tidal pools at the Three Graces and Barview
Moderate tides provide a fun place for kids in Barview. Less stressful for the adults than playing near the ocean but still wonderful sand and even critters to chase.
Steeper tides expose tide pools at the Three Graces.
