"A hidden South London gem. From the outlook Peckham Rye looks like any other wide open park in London but walk a little further and you'll find a maze of Japanese and American gardens. There's ponds, geese, tropical birds, wild flowers, pegodas, even a real life Peckham Spring!"

There are the usual amenities - space for joggers, outdoor gym, a playground, tennis courts. But there's also a little cafe, and a garden supported by lottery funding. More excitingly, I've only recently noticed a bee sanctuary (called Bee Urban) which is open for learning about bees and experiencing bee-ing a hiver but also for mead tasting! There's always something more to explore.
