There are many Indian restaurants in Church Street, but this is our favourite for having food delivered home. Particularly we love the Chef's Special (chicken) as well as the Lamb Rogan Josh. The vegetable side dishes are delicious too, particularly the Bhindi and Mushroom Bhajis.

Lovely, intimate and cosy family restaurant. The pizzas here are very good too and much their menu offers a much wider choice. Their garlic bread pizza is truly excellent. Really good places for families.

Short bus ride from us on the 393 with great views over the Walthamshow Marches and lovely walks. There is an old fashioned pub on the river Lee called the Hope and Anchor, the cafe in Springfield Park is good but the best one is near the Lea Valley Marina.
ps - if we are around, we happily give our guests a lift in the car to this park
