Trout Lake CC and Park are really beautiful. The playground is brand new and the walk around the lake is a real East Van thing...There is even an ice rink inside the Community Centre.

This is the closest Skytrain station - an easy 14 minute walk away. BOTH lines of Skytrain stop on this station so you can go anywhere the trains go from here. Not bad!

Fujiya is like a piece of Japan. They have the BEST take out sushi in the city - hands down. Also mochi ice cream, edamame beans and many other Japanese items. On the route of Bus #22 - don't miss it!

Closest big grocery store to the unit. This is a chain store so not brilliant with fresh organics etc. but definitely a good stop to get basics if you don't have time to go to Famous Foods.

Donald's is another locally owned grocery store. If you are on Commercial Drive this is an easy stop. They have an amazing amount of stuff in the small store and do well with organics as well!

Local watering hole. I think it is owned by a police officer so everything is pretty well run... Guests will be happy to know that they also have a Liquor Store!

This has to be the closest you can get to Sri Lanka in Vancouver. The dosas are big and tasty, and the mango lassi is sweeeeet! Check out the cricket shirts on the wall. Occasional line ups at door
