Just down the road from Tom's Stand in Maggie Valley - Joey's is truly a local treasure. In business since the 60s, it's a must stop for breakfast. You can't go wrong with the pecan pancakes with bacon and cheese grits. Open 7 days a week from 7 to Noon. There's often a line, so the earlier the better!

You'll want to leave early, and plan to stay late, as the River Arts District is a one of a kind destination for handmade arts & crafts.
