This is the heart of the fashionable (read gentrified) 'Walthamstow Village' area. There's some lovely restaurants, pubs, traditional houses and a nice church. We recommend Eat 17 for a good meal but there's plenty of independent places to choose from.

Orford RoadThis is the heart of the fashionable (read gentrified) 'Walthamstow Village' area. There's some lovely restaurants, pubs, traditional houses and a nice church. We recommend Eat 17 for a good meal but there's plenty of independent places to choose from.

A massive stretch of green that cuts through East London. Plenty of peaceful walks. Choose a route that takes you across to Hackney, Hackney Wick or down to the Olympic Park.

Blackhorse Road Underground. This is your link to Central London. Victoria Line. Runs til around midnight in the week but from Friday - Sunday morning it's a 24 hour service. Trains run every minute in the day then every 10 minutes through the night.
