There are fees charged for improved parking areas and camping. A fishing license is required. Check with the local Vallecito stores for fishing information. Several restaurants are at Vallecito.

It's a fun trip for the whole family. Many recommend the train ride one way and take the bus back to your vehicle. Plan on a whole day to enjoy the sights and SIlverton.
