Parks & Nature
GREAT swimming! A lovely small pond close to UMass. You can swim across the pond fairly easily. A wide mix of people take advantage of this beautiful, free swimming area. Children play in the sand together; no lifeguard is on the premises. Water is spring-fed and refreshing. No changing rooms available, but there are basic porta-potties. There's a "people side" and a "dog side" of the pond. If you're bringing a dog ask anyone how to get to the "dog-side."
