If you always wanted to spend your summers at sleepaway camp (or were always denied an invite to all the coolest house parties), The Bungalow is for you. Vintage details, oldies music and a retro cocktail menu at this hotel-adjacent bar by the beach are so carefully curated you'll be surprised you weren't offered a post-war costume at the door. Bungalow is the perfect place to make visiting friends jealous that you live in Santa Monica while you sip a can of Golden Road and play ping pong. Arrive anytime after opening hour and you'll be waiting in line.

The Magic Castle Country Club of Hollywood is an exclusive nightclub of high caliber where the best of the best are honored to preform. If you know a magician, a member of the Academy of Magical Arts or a member of the club, itself you may be able to acquire tickets. If so, take us with you! If you've never been, you'll need to take someone that has or you will definitely miss out on the secret props. We've been before and it's the best entertainment in magic, ever. Formal attire is mandatory - coats, ties, dresses. Very upscale and the dinner is not bad. Note: you'll be climbing some stairs.

A spill of natural light and 40' carved plaster ceilings, this location absolutely arresting. The hard wood floors and cafe tables catapult you back to the time of Bogey and Bacall. The restaurant has a great bar scene and an even better food scene. The service is impeccable, as the place is crawling with well-heeled staff. You can't go wrong with one single thing on the menu. The wood fire pizza is to die for and the butter lettuce salad is a perfect compliment to any entre. This is the perfect spot for the LA experience.

Go here for the best Ramen in town. Seriously, it is the BEST. It is hard to get a seat so get there before you are starving. But it is one of the best ramens I have ever had!!!

Definitely go see a movie in the Dome. It's a landmark and a really cool experience. The theater itself is great and concessions are not overpriced. They also serve wine, beer, and coffee!

An open courtyard style shopping mall within the Iconic Farmer's market on Fairfax. You can find anything and everything you need there. You can even go see a movie! You can buy a computer at the apple store, get a book at Barnes and Noble, walk around eating gelato and get a pair of pants at the Gap. I mean they have it all. I love love love the farmers market for a good bite to eat and to go pick up my fruits and veggies. I also love stopping at the Cost Plus Imports to do some shopping for cool craft beer and international snacks. Love this place.
