A fantastic local coffee company that used only locally sourced products (except the coffee of course but its of very high quality). Run by a lovely couple into eco-friendly, upcycling and the arts.

A gorgeous mix of tea rooms with yummy cakes and a restaurant. Food quality is excellent with good sized portions. The Parade Tea Rooms are brand new with lovely decor and friendly, helpful staff. Right outside the apartment on the common, so perfect for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

The Parade Tea Rooms are brand new with lovely decor and friendly, helpful staff. Right outside the apartment on the common, so perfect for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea. Highly recommended.
Another little gem, right on the beach front close to South Parade Pier, overlooking the sea. This venue is very popular with a good menu - their home made burgers are excellent! There is always a fresh fish dish too.

A very unusual and special vintage-style decorated cafe, shop and record label that sells brand new vinyl, bound to be popular with young people. They serve the most amazing selection of British homemade pies with fillings as diverse as Steak & Guinness, Coconut Chili Chicken to veggie pies such as the popular Heidi. Record Store Day at Pie and Vinyl is an absolute must! Don't miss this place during your visit ;-)

A lovely little gallery called Atelier featuring artist Pete Codling, whose art practice is a fascinating development of public art through to traditional drawing and painting in a contemporary context. Pop into to see Pete if you love art for a chat and to hear what he is working on - a great guy!

Also near to Marmion Road with little independent shops such as Coco (chocolatier), Barbara Tipple (Jewelers) and Waitrose.
