It has walks for every ability, views to die for and you feel that you are completely in the wilds. There is a lovely cafe right at the end of the peninsular where you can walk to the lighthouse and reward yourself with home made apple pie and cream.

In my view, the Beara peninsular is more stunning, quieter and less touristy than the Ring of Kerry. You can walk, cycle or drive it and it has many secret places, deserted beaches, wonderful wildlife, and a cable car trip over to Dursey Island thst is an experience to remember.
