Food Scene
Borough Market has a wide variety of small independent food producers who make and sell some interesting and fine foods, like strong Gouda cheese or interesting oils, as well as some great street food. The market is entirely covered and near to a whole range of other attractions such as restaurants, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and the recreation of the ship in which Sir Walter Raleigh circumnavigated the globe (one of the first to do so) and surprisingly small, and the George Tavern, or Vinopolis. It is easy to get to from ours - just a train from Woolwich Arsenal to London Bridge or Cannon Street.

It's fun, close to the river, and its views. It's a neat and smart area full of history.
