You can get from Aylesbury Train Station to London Marylebone in under an hour. If you are going to be travelling in central London then it would be worth adding a London Zone 1-6 travelcard with your day return from Aylesbury to Marylebone. This works out cheaper than using an Oyster card (contactless prepaid travel card). Please note that Aylesbury is not on the London Underground and so Oyster card is not accepted. You will need a paper ticket.
