Tarte is amazing! Better quality than most of my favorites in Brisbane. Have great pasteries, coffees and breakfast! It’s a must for that sugar treat!

Great for a Sunday session or a fish burger and a drink. Amazing view but is often busy and great to do if you haven’t been to Burleigh before

Great middle of the range Japanese, I recommend the okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake’s), sushi and the tataki’s. I don’t rate the tacos.

This is a great all rounder something for everyone breakfast and lunch are good. My favorite is the fish tacos it is also licensed.

Neighbourhoods
This is a great street to park in if you want easy access to the creek, there is often parking along the street or the next one over, it’s sheltered in the afternoons and you can take your dogs there. You can also access it by driving over the hill instead of around through Burleigh.
If your a keen walker you can walk here by going through the reserve access opposite the lights at Skyline Terrace.
Awoonga Avenue

Obviously the main beach is amazing but it can get crowded and the surf can be a bit dumpy another option is. You are allowed dogs on leash as long as you stay out of the flag areas. If you take the Oceanview Track and walk around the head land you can get to another beach access for Tallebudgera Creek. This is great if the wind is up on the main beach and you want some more shelter. The children love swimming in the creek and there is still lovely sand like the beach and rocks for them to play.

Burleigh Heads
Obviously the main beach is amazing but it can get crowded and the surf can be a bit dumpy another option is. You are allowed dogs on leash as long as you stay out of the flag areas. If you take the Oceanview Track and walk around the head land you can get to another beach access for Tallebudgera Creek. This is great if the wind is up on the main beach and you want some more shelter. The children love swimming in the creek and there is still lovely sand like the beach and rocks for them to play.
This is a great beach if you have your furry friends with you. Dogs are allowed off the leash, there is so many and they love it! It is also a great estuary to swim in for children but could be quite hectic if you don’t have dogs.
