If you want to like beer but are more of a sweet-drink kinda person, Xul is your place. Lots of fruited sours that don't taste like a typical beer, as well amazing more traditional beer flavors. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Have a delicious beer in a very relaxed environment. No food menu inside, but they have a food truck.

If you're up for a challenging day hike, start early. It's about an hour and a half from the house to the trailheads, but the views at the top are totally worth it. I've hiked all 5 trails that go to the top... feel free to ask about them if you are interested.
