Condon is a small town with an amazing gourmet grocery store, art gallery, post office, gas station, log library, Community Center, Swan Center ( General Store), horse arena, basketball court and baseball diamond. In addition the Swan Valley Connections at the ranger station across from the national forest air strip has a small wild animal museum and many resources about our local wilderness area to include info on bears, fishing and hiking trails.

Just 1.5 hours south of Condon is Missoula which has lots of fun activities from some of the best breweries in Montana such as Highlander and Kettlehouse (Bonner) to just south of Missoula our favorite steak house Lolo Creek Distillery and Steak House. Hip old town, antique shops, a variety of restaurants, art galleries and more. Go to our favorite bakery Great Harvest Bread Company for incredible treats. Best pizza and Caesar salad is at Highlander Brewery.

Missoula

Just 30 miles south of Condon Seeley Lake is a cute small town with a decent pizza restaurant--Stageline Pizza, fabulous fried chicken at Seeley Chicken Coop and Lounge, swanky eating at Lindey's Prime Steak and at the Double Arrow Lodge bistro! The Grizzley Claw Trading Company sells Montana sapphires, jewelry, local pottery, Native American artifacts and more. We love their coffee bar, pastries, and used books also!

Seeley Lake
Just 30 miles south of Condon Seeley Lake is a cute small town with a decent pizza restaurant--Stageline Pizza, fabulous fried chicken at Seeley Chicken Coop and Lounge, swanky eating at Lindey's Prime Steak and at the Double Arrow Lodge bistro! The Grizzley Claw Trading Company sells Montana sapphires, jewelry, local pottery, Native American artifacts and more. We love their coffee bar, pastries, and used books also!
A Bar Montana serves the BEST hamburgers around! Only 40 minutes north of us and well worth the drive. Order Coldsmoke on tap; Montana's favorite beer. The Laughing Horse is an amazing high end restaurant with fabulous bistro food cooked by the owner. Great shopping in the marina with beautiful boutiques and small town atmosphere. Flathead Lake Brewing Company Pubhouse has great Flathead Lake views and the most amazing artichoke dip I have ever had!

A Bar Montana serves the BEST hamburgers around! Only 40 minutes north of us and well worth the drive. Order Coldsmoke on tap; Montana's favorite beer. The Laughing Horse is an amazing high end restaurant with fabulous bistro food cooked by the owner. Great shopping in the marina with beautiful boutiques and small town atmosphere.
