I spent every summer coming here as a child. They have live bear shows, a train ride, old time photo shoots, and rides. It is such a fun spot for the whole family.

From sledding down the ice, to fairy lights in path ways, go inside the castles and explore. Outdoor games are there as well. Dress warm and cute for the photos you'll want to take! (Winter only)

Swimming hole only known to locals
Spending so much of my time in this area, I know the best swimming spots in the local river. It is a 5-10 minute drive, go to down town North Woodstock (type in Woodstock Brewery ) in your GPS. There is parking on the road downtown all over. You will see a stone bench across the street from the brewery and a fence. Follow the steps down and it brings you to a section of the River with lots of swimming holes ! Bring a tube, and go down the falls to the end where the river pools again. It is such a fun spot.
