Red Hook is a nice getaway from the city. The breeze off the coast is amazing and the buildings wonderful. Small cobblestone streets, New York-sized warehouse and many galleries and vintage stores. Also for crab and seafood lovers, this is the place.

To finish the tour, go to The Surf Club. A fantastic place where you can eat good Mexican food, listening to great music in an entourage of chill vibes!

교통편
Subways are the fastest way to get around
To get back to the apartment, get off at Graham Ave stop even if it's one more station from Manhattan. The walk down Graham Ave is much more enjoyable with all the bars, cafes and restaurants it has and it saves you an Uber!
준비물
On Summer
Bring a light sweater if you plan on taking long trips on the subway. The subway cars have the air conditioning on full blast and it gets very, very cold.
교통편
Buses in Brooklyn run every 15" or so
In Manhattan some run often but subway is always recommended, although catching a bus is a nice way to enjoy the city if you are tired of walk :)

When it comes to Christmas decorations, Greenpoint is the place! Neighbors decorate apartment walls and doorways with all kinds of decorations: puffy, ceramic, and every conceivable light variation transforming their neighborhood block into a dream for kids and adults alike!
Take the B43 to India St. When you see the lights, get off and enjoy the scenery.
