This is a go to place for a nice swim, shallow water for quite a bit, nice beach, dogs are allowed and a 2 minute walk from parking area. It’s FREE!

Heart lake is a nice swim spot, picnic tables to bring your own picnic,good food at the lodge, and a hot spot to the Adirondack high peak trail heads. I believe it’s 10$ to park, but well worth it.
