Walk towards istiklal from galata.. You may go into Pera which is the real Beyoğlu spot. From Pera go to Cihangir by walking a bit :) in İstiklal Street. It is pretty crowded so, enter to as many small streets as you can. And you can catch some building architecture meanwhile
