One of the five castles in Naples, the Royal Palace is one of the most imposing landmarks of the city: palace, museum, and historical tourist destination, it incorporates in its structure one of the most importand Opera theathers in the world, Teatro San Carlo. I strongly suggest to visit the royal apartments, with the grand staircase at the entrance and their magnificent decorations of military trophies and allegorical bas-reliefs. Beautifully decorated historical rooms overflowing with art works, statues, tapestries and period furniture. You will immediately mesmerized!

The view from the top of the tower is pretty great, but all the rooms and the chapels of the palace make it, in my opinion, one of the best things to see here in Naples.
