The centre is cashless apart from needing a £1 coin or shopping token for the lockers.
At time of writing it’s £6 per swim and £10 for gym ( adult prices)

If you are taking the car it can be quieter to travel to Redruth and avoid the busy city centre on a wet afternoon or evening! It’s about 10-15 mins and it’s my favourite cinema.

Eden Project
Because it’s biomes are covered it can be a good option when wet.
Although you would need to get a bit wet walking down to the house. It is patched under foot and you can easily pass a couple of hours exploring the house.

Indoor soft play ( probably best suited to under 12’s) but they also have a lazer tag and virtual play zone. It’s at Penryn about 30 mins drive. Ideal to couple other with a trip to Falmouth town as it’s on the way.

It’s worth a visit here in the rain to do create and paint pottery. Fun activity for adults and kids alike. There’s a restaurant and gold factory too. Drive on 5 more minutes and watch the waves at Portreath

Another national trust place. This one has a small house and other bits that are under cover. A good tea rooms and they often let the children try on armour etc . It’s over near Newquay so you could team it with a drive to watch the waves .

Although a lot of the park is outdoors they do have an indoor play zone with slides and soft play . There’s a younger section as well as a bit the older ones will enjoy. There are other parts of the park that can still be enjoyed if it’s raining.

If it’s a wet day then you could have a little explore (for free ) of Truro Cathedral. There’s interesting things to see and a cafe and gift shop. If you fancy a breast from the busyness of the shops then maybe take some shelter from the showers in here.

Truro Bowl is within walking distance of the city centre. It’s just a basic bowling alley but can be good for a fun way to spend a wet hour or two. I suggest eating elsewhere afterwards. See my places to eat guide.
