I absolutely love this place! Their pastries are on par with any French pastry chef. I love the Kouign Aman, Pain Au Raisin, sourdough bread, gluten free muffins, and you will love the sticky buns! I wish the atmosphere was cozier but the pastries and coffee make up for it. They also offer fresh pressed juices and small batch ice creams. They offer some breakfast items on weekends and a variety of pre made salads ( not your usual lettuce and tomato). Also Guy Fieri ate here. If its good enough for him....

I regret that I have only eaten here twice. I think they take their menu and their service seriously. Of course the wine selection is fabulous. It is worth the drive to get here

This is a hike in our own backyard. Drive north on Dallas Road about 1 mile. Look for the right hand turn and a sign for the Badger Mountain West Trailhead. There are many paths to take . You can make your hike as long or as short as you like. Another hike (Candy Mountain) is a little further north on Dallas Road. Take a left turn after you drive under the overpass to Candy Mountain. Neither of these hikes provide shade so be sure to take a hat and some water if you are going for a long haul. Also beware of rattlesnakes on the trail during the warmer weather. Keep your eyes on the trail and your hands to yourself.

Columbia River Access
This is a lovely park with a sandy beach on the Columbia River. Its a a nice swimming beach for the kids to swim and play. I like to picnic here, train for the swimming portion of a triathlon, or put in my kayak or SUP.

There are often fun events going on in the park but you can also rent kayaks or access the greenbelt for walking or bike riding. The greenbelt can be accessed at many points along the river on both the Richland and Pasco sides. It is easy to ride your bike for 30 miles or more by riding up one side and crossing the bridges to make a full loop.

Literally across the street! Drive north on Dallas Road and you can't miss it on the left. They often have food trucks during the week, also have a menu with tapas, and of course wine. They have outdoor seating and games (like cornhole) to play in the yard.

Fishing Guides
If you would like to try fishing on the Columbia River, I highly recommend it. Try Fishers Catch Outfitters, Tony Fisher is a personal friend and extraordinary fishing guide. He guides full time for walleye, salmon and sturgeon.
