The local beers here are delicious. We argue over which is their best IPA... spoiler alert... they're ALL good! Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful patio when the weather is nice. We also love their Sunday brunch!

We consider this our ‘local’ as it’s very convenient to the house! A super casual neighborhood bar. Stop in for a craft beer and some good pub food. An easy choice after a long day exploring Harrisburg.

Check out the Harrisburg Senators as they play ball on City Island in the middle of the Susquehanna!
The island also has mini golf (Water Golf on City Island) and the Harrisburg Beach Club with beer, wine, cocktails, and a food truck. Relax as you overlook the river!

If you like to hike, ride bicycles, skate, jog, fish, spot rare birds, learn about history, enjoy native flora and fauna, and appreciate nature then you might want to check out the Capital Area Greenbelt trails. The majority of the trail is a dedicated path that passes along the Susquehanna and several parks and gardens.

We don't think it gets better than chocolate and rollercoasters... Hershey Park is just 15 miles east of our place!
